Job Description
We are a full service, family owned & operated landscape/hardscape company, serving the greater Tolland/Windham area for the past 29 years. We service both commercial & residential customers. We are currently seeking applicants for our Lawn Care and Landscaping Specialist positions. Candidates should have prior experience in at least one of these areas.
We are searching for the most reliable candidates who are highly motivated, possess a strong work ethic, have a clean professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Applications of fertilizer, weed and pest controls
- Driving to various job sites independently at times
- Perennial gardening, mulching, and pruning
- Weeding and edging of planting beds
- Spring and fall clean-ups
Requirements are:
- MUST have a valid CT Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to pass a drug and/or alcohol test, if administered
- Must have at least 1-year professional fertilizing
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather
- Must have reliable transportation to & from our business location
- Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hrs/day, M-F. Some 10 hours days are worked in an effort to avoid Saturdays which are worked on occasion.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs & heavier
- Must have a good work ethic (show up to work every day, on time)
- Ability to follow instructions
- Have good communication skills & be a team player
Additional Information:
- Positions are full time & available beginning of April.
- Hours are 7am-4pm usually Monday through Friday
- Salaries start at $14-$16/hr and up, depending on experience & position
